On the whole, I found this fragrance to be appealing, encompassing a variety of olfactory aspects. However, despite its name, I didn’t detect any distinct oud fragrance. So, if you’re expecting a strong oud presence, you might be disappointed. Nevertheless, if you approach this perfume without the expectation of prominent oud, it stands as a pleasing and enjoyable olfactory journey, even if the initial burst of alcohol is momentarily overpowering.

Right from the start, the opening notes don’t quite hit with a strong impact, and the blending of these notes comes across as somewhat artificial, resulting in a linear fragrance profile. Interestingly, this linear quality persists into the dry-down phase. Following the initial burst of alcohol, the scent makes a sugary entrance, reminiscent of cake-like custard sweetness. As time ticks by (around the 15-minute mark), an intriguing transformation occurs, leaving you with an aroma remarkably similar to that of a vanilla custard cake.
